Now called Caring for Children, this program was developed in the Ottawa area in 1997/98. This is a modular program addressing various areas of concern for the new and experienced Caregiver. Topics include: Communicable Disease, Home Safety, Nutrition, Food Safety, Communicating with Parents, Child Behaviour Management, Preschool Speech and Language Development and Child Abuse Awareness.

Modules are constantly being developed and will be offered as they become available.

It is free to anyone who is currently a caregiver or who is interested in becoming a caregiver. We no longer offer this workshop at this facility but you can contact CCPRN. See below for details
