Operating Instructions: How to use the Toy Library
| | All of our toys are coded with a letter followed by two numbers. For example, A-10-9. The letter codes indicate the appropriate area of development according to the following: |
| | |
| | |
| | A - Action Toys (riding and climbing toys)
| B - Baby toys (up to 18 months) C - Construction Toys (child needs to put the toy together to make it work such as duplo, marbleworks) G - Games (board games for children who are 3, 4 and 5 years old) I - Imaginative Play (theme toys such as houses, castles, cars, farms, etc...) M - Manipulative Skills (fine motor skill development such as sewing cards) P - Puzzles (range from 5 to 60 pieces) | |
| | The first number corresponds to the toy's number in our inventory; The second number corresponds to the number of pieces or parts that make up that toy. So, for example, Toy A-10-9 is an action toy, the tenth in the inventory with 9 pieces. |
| | The lending period is two weeks, although toys may be returned and exhanged sooner. Members may borrow two toys and two puzzles during the lending period. A late fee of $0.35 cents per toy per day will apply |
