FAQs
Resource Centre:

Depending on the program within the resource centre, different experiences, and education is required. Currently most staff have their Early Childhood Education Diploma and one has their Certificate in Family Support Programs: Family Resource Programs. The three core staff have up to twenty years experience, each in the field of early childhood services. Workshop Leaders come from various disciplines related to their field of expertise.

Home Care:

In our agency there are four childcare consultants who monitor the homes monthly and who act as a support and a resource to both the parents and to the providers.

Each Childcare consultant is a qualified Early Childhood Educator with diverse academic backgrounds and field experience.

Our experience is used daily to provide high quality care.

Group Care:

All teaching staff of the Group Care Centre have either graduated from college or university with a diploma in Early Childhood Education or are currently in training for such.

All staff keep their training current by participating in workshops, courses and conferences. This may be initiated by a personal interest or as a means of meeting specific needs in the program.

First Aid and CPR certificates are renewed annually by all staff.

We offer field placement opportunities for students currently enrolled in local colleges or universities in a child related field of study.
